About Us

I am a CELTA qualified (Grade A) English language teacher from Dorset, UK.

I studied BSc (Hons) Design Engineering at Bournemouth University from 2008 – 2012. After working briefly in the field of Aerospace Engineering, designing for clients such as Airbus, Boeing and Cobham I decided to have a change of career and switched to teaching. I passed my TEFL qualification and went to teach English as a foreign language in Thailand.

I have taught young learners aged between 6 – 18 years old in a large private school in Prachin Buri Provence, just three hours North-East of the capital, Bangkok. The school was large with just over 2,000 students and had its own dedicated English Program. I taught English to all grades, as well as teaching English through regular subjects such as Home Mechanics, Maths and Health. I had a wide variety of experience, teaching classes anywhere from 25 to 60 students. I also taught in the evenings and on weekends in a nearby Language School. Here, I taught students aged between 8 – 20 years old. The classes were small with just 3 to 15 students. As well as teaching, I also wrote teaching materials and curriculums for the school.

I have lots of experience working with language schools in both the UK and in Germany. I have worked for several schools in Bournemouth, UK, which included working with regular language schools and also summer camps for young learners. In Oberwesel, Germany, I taught and worked at summer camp for students aged between 8 – 16 years old.

I really love teaching English and meeting new people with new challenges. To be able to help people improve their language skills is a very rewarding profession, and it gives me a lot of pleasure to assist them and watch them develop and learn.
